Avis is committed to ensuring New Zealand's environment is protected and that our global image as a clean and green destination is maintained.  To help achieve this, Avis has partnered with the Air New Zealand Environment Trust. 

Avis provides financial support to the trust on behalf of its customers who rent cars in New Zealand.

Avis customers also have the option of making a donation to the Air New Zealand Environment Trust when booking their rental vehicles to help offset the carbon dioxide emitted when you use the vehicle.

Hotel Grand Chancellor acknowledge their role in protecting New Zealand's natural environment and this is reflected in the many initiatives underway at each of their hotels; Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland City, Auckland Airport and the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor in Wellington. 

Each of the hotels has their own programme in place with a range of initiatives including recycling, reduction in water and energy usage, through to minimising food waste with the use of worm farms. 

Hotel Grand Chancellor support the Trust by providing a donation from every reservation made on their website

In any of the hotels, guests can also make a donation to the Trust at the front desk.
